Reinhardt Abraham Studienförderung (RASF)
The Reinhardt Abraham Memorial Foundation (Reinhardt Abraham Studienförderung RASF) was founded in June 1996, through a joint initiative of the BOEING Company (BC) and the Deutsche Lufthansa AG (LH) as a continuing memorial to the late Reinhardt Abraham, one of Lufthansas highly reputated members of the board.
While at Lufthansa, Mr. Abraham maintained a close relationship with the Technische Universität Berlin (TUB), the institution where he studied physics, business engineering and aviation technology and where he enjoyed giving guest lectures later on.
The purpose of the RASF is to foster the further education and training of both German and American students and young graduates, in the field of aviation and air transportation.
The RASF operates as an independent division within the broader Deutsche Lufthansa Berlin-Stiftung (DLBS).
