Application ERASMUS/European Students
  • Students apply through MobilityOnline after they have been nominated by their home university for the exchange. They will then be provided with the MobilityOnline application details.

    The following items have to be generated/uploaded in/to MobilityOnline:
  • Signed Application Form
    (generated through MobilityOnline - then to be uploaded)

  • Learning Agreement - only the “Before the mobility” part!
    (to be uploaded)

    • Please note that at this point the learning agreement for your exchange semester can only be preliminary since the final course list for your exchange semester will only be availabe shortly before it starts. Therefore, participation in specific courses will be subject to their subsequent verification and cannot be guaranteed. Furthermore, it is not yet clear whether certain courses will only have limited participation space.

  • Language Certificate* for attending courses (to be uploaded):
  • German proficiency certificate on A2 level or higher when applying.
    • Additionally!!! a certificate on B1 level or higher has to be provided before the semester starts.
    • For this purpose the ZEMS offers pre-semester German intensive courses on B1 level and higher. You have to pass the ZEMS preparation exam on at least A2 level to participate!
  •  English proficiency certificate on B2 level if you will attend a Master program with English as the language of instruction.

  • English proficiency certificate on B2 level if you take part in one of the following programs:
    Trondheim – Master of Education
    St. Petersburg Technical University
  • Alliance4Tech students do not have to upload a language certificate!
  • Language Certificate* for working on a thesis - no course attendance (to be uploaded):
    English OR German proficiency certificate on B2 level or higher.
*About the language certificate:
  • We cannot accept language course registration confirmations! We have to receive a certificate issued after having passed an exam.
  • The deadline for the German language certificate is not later than the deadline for the other documents!
  • The certificate may not be older than 1 year (on A2 level) – three years in case of a higher level. Furthermore, it must be issued in either German or English.

  for summer semesters   December 1st
