Dormitory rooms of the “Studierendenwerk Berlin”

For exchange students only we have a very limited number of dormitory rooms in certain dorm locations available (dorm "Hans und Hilde Coppie", dorm "Sewanstraße", dorm "Siegmundshof - Haus I" and dorm "Hubertusallee") which are provided by the Studierendenwerk Berlin [2].
A few weeks after our application deadline ends we will give you the opportunity to apply for one of these rooms. For this purpose we will send you information about the particulars of the available dormitories and the application process. As an exchange student you cannot apply directly at the Studierendenwerk for our rooms - only trough our office!

Private Accommodation

We strongly recommend to start searching for a room well in advance on the private housing market online. It is also advisable to stay in a hostel or with friends during the first few days in Berlin while you are looking for permanent housing. The following weblinks might help you with your search:
