TU Berlin Transcript

Grades for exchange students are not submitted to the Examination Office. Instead, exchange students are issued a certificate or “Schein” by their instructor for each course they successfully complete. If they don’t have their own form for doing so, instructors can use this template. You can also provide them with this explanation letter should they not be familiar with the process.
To qualify for a certificate, you either have to take a written test or an oral exam or complete a term paper. Ask you instructor which of these options applies for their course.

Once you have collected all your certificates at the end of your exchange, we can use them to create a transcript for you.

Please note, though, that you will NOT automatically be issued a transcript at the end of your time here.
You have to apply to us to receive one! Please read the step-by-step guide to the transcript!

Exchange students at TU Berlin generate a transcript via their Mobility-Online account after they filled in the "questionaire at the end of the mobility". After we confirmed the questionaire you can upload your individual course certificates, update the course data and request the transcript. We will then check and validate this for you. You can then download your digital transcript as a PDF from your Mobility-Online account.
