For the time being the ZEMS is able to issue language certificates based on online examinations. Please contact the relevant ZEMS teacher for this purpose.

Please note:

Since June 23, 2020 (see information letter of July 8, 2020) we are allowed again to support the study abroad stays of our students as long as travel restrictions for their study destinations are not (any longer) in force (please see Entry restrictions and quarantine regulations in Germany).

Please be aware that TU Berlin recommends to refrain from travel to study abroad destinations in so called risk areas. The German Federal Foreign Office announced that organized return travel wil not be provided anymore. So be prepared to cover all costs if you start your study abroad studies or internships in a designated risk area and have to return. Keep in mind that you do this at your own risk! However, since August 21, 2020 we are allowed again to financially support students in these areas under certain conditions. We are continuing to make all the necessary arrangements.

Please understand that at the moment no one is able to provide reliable information about how the situation may develop over the coming months. We will update you as soon as we receive information from third-party funding organizations and our partner universities.
